Find out who has your old number
Network Health shows which connections are holding stale details for you, and lets you nudge them.
What this is
The promise Tether makes is that the people who matter can always reach you. Network Health is that promise made checkable — it audits who is currently holding something out of date for you.
Before you start
Nothing. It runs on the connections you already have.
Steps
- Open Settings and choose Network Health.
- Read the list. It shows connections holding a stale phone, email, or address for you.
- Send a nudge to anyone worth nudging.
What to expect afterward
A nudge is a quiet prompt, not a broadcast. Tether rate-limits them so this cannot turn into the thing everyone hated about address-book apps twenty years ago: it will not let you pester people, and it never messages anyone on your behalf without you choosing to.
For anyone you are fully connected to, there is usually nothing to do — their copy of your details comes from you and is already right. Network Health mostly surfaces the edges: people who saved you manually, or connections that were never completed.
Troubleshooting
The list is empty. Good. It means the people you are connected to already have you right.
Someone keeps appearing after a nudge. They may not be on Tether, in which case their copy of your details is theirs to fix and a nudge is the only lever there is.
